The founders of Eden Memory Care have developed a place where the latest in memory care research and technology has been applied to create a caring and safe environment for those living with conditions of memory impairment like Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Team members stay on top of research in this field through ongoing training, education and certification programs. CNA

Our CNA caregivers offer daily assistance to our residents. Their responsibilities include, checking on residents, helping with daily activities, light housekeeping, laundry and assisting residents as needed and provide companionship. Caregivers may also assist residents with activities they wish to participate in. Some residents may require help with personal hygiene as well. Maintaining accurate case notes are important aspect of this position.

CNAs are required to stay current with their certification, participate in continuing education, training and certification programs particularly those which pertain to working with individuals who have cognitive memory impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease or any of the other conditions with dementia as a symptom.

Med Aide

It is preferable for med aides to have CNA training, although it is not required. Our certified med aides are responsible for giving residents their medication on time. The ability to keep accurate records is essential. Other duties may include those of the certified CNA.

Culinary Assistant

The food choices at Eden Memory Care are specifically geared to promote healthy aging and brain health. The culinary assistant will take direction from the chef and dietitian and assist with meal and snack preparation.
